As you can well see there are absolutely no shortages of viable choices and options to consider when it comes to American Express credit cards. These are, in our opinion, the best credit card offers because they are all designed to specifically fill the needs of consumers and small business owners.
Amex understands that having a credit card or charge card is not a one-size-fits-all proposition. That is why it is so incredibly important that you take the time to identify exactly what it is that you are looking for in a credit card or charge card.
Incidentally, the difference between credit cards and charge cards are pretty straightforward but at the same time tends to cause some confusion. A credit card is when the credit card issuer grants the cardholder credit with the agreement that it be paid in full at the end of the billing cycle, or interest will be charged on the outstanding balance.
A charge card must, by definition, be paid in full at the end of each and every billing cycle. That is why you will not see an APR listed for charge cards. While credit is granted at the initial point of purchase, it must be paid when the bill is due.
As always, whenever you are doing a credit card comparison take a look at the important features including annual percentage rates (APRs), fees, how the rewards programs are structured and all the other pertinent information.
If you should have any questions about American Express credit cards then by all means do not hesitate to contact American Express. They have customer service representatives standing by that are more than happy to help you in any way they can.
